HOORAY EVERYTHINGS BROKEN the chat things didn't work so im downloading the game again HEK+ is broken cos when i try to extract stuff it says that the bitmaps are used by another process when nothing is open ahobo is broke cos adding the vehicles doesn't work as a result, i'm done with halo CE. i did and sapien is still really sensitive but it just works as for hek+, when i try to extract anything it sez that another process is using the textures when nothing else is open
so then do i have to save it and build the map? or will i be able to place them in ahobo straight away?

maybe this time though if everyone contribiutes then something might be done. theres a 1st time for everything
i not making a map, im just making a mod of blood gulch to try and get used to doing it. theres already way too many bg mods out there and mine won't be special. i'll still upload it if you want though.

I find it hard to believe that you aren't taking this seriously. Adulese's idea could make Halo CE truly awesome and you make a joke of it.
the minigun is fine, and dont worry cos i fixed it.
it was becasue i got the scenario from an existing map and saved it as a new map. i was trying to open the old scenario which made sapien unhappy so i just opened the new one
as for the vehicles, the short way sounds better becasue i can't be bothered to script. can u post how to cos i have no idea You guys rock and thx for putting up with the ultra-n00b (me)

how are you meant to access that feature? I really need it as both are completely stuffed on my PC. Sapien/ahobo are finding tags that I don't have, and when I find them, they come up with another error that I posted below. It's as if they are TRYIng to find stuff that's wrong with my map. Whoever made Sapien ought to be fired as they can't put a program together athat works, judging by this program

all I need for the wraith is the wraith.physics to put into the AA wraith tag bundle. But, to actually insert the AA Wraith into my map, then I need sapien to work. It doesn't. Can someone extract the scenario from bloodgulch.map, zip it and post it and the link? That would be much appreciated. Happy Christmas everybody.

yeah i know that there is the tutorial but it's sooooooo much easier asking people who have actually done the things than reading about them
as for the minigun, no, it's not collidable because it didn't come with a collision model. That's not the problem becasue I opened the scenario before and it was fine. The exception is what's making it crash, i know that much. I think that if i could extract the whole map again then it would be fixed

Honestly, I don't think that Bungie care if you do go through with this project becasue it would be adding more to the Halo series and enticing more people to join the community.

and i can't extract it again because HEK+ is broken. its doing the thing where it can't open bitmap tags becasue 'they are in use by another process' when nothing else is open

i made the bitmap in paint and then made all the box and hid it and then when i inserted the bitmap and changed the strength it raised the plane but didn't make the shape
