jaz that isn't ally, fair enough i don't use a capital, but that's not the member called ally :)
do any other games do this stretch and flickering of the geometry?
to be honest tho, that looks like your video card is hammered.
seen that before on my old card, which i drove into the ground.
check the fan or fans on it are working, redo the thermal compound, but i think it's already done for.
okay not too sure, been ages since i used any sp maps.
does pressing esc not show a load option?
edit: in some parts of sp maps saving isn't allowed, are you sure you didn't get a can't save message at some point.

that would happen if you deleted the profile name you had created the save or saves with,
no idea why it would happen if you didn't delete the profile name they were created with tho.
haven't been on the site for almost a week, hello my names ally
cheerio the nou :)
here it is saved as .pdf, before the images went away.
run the updater, which is in the halo folder, its a shield shape icon.
or use this http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=4987
steve you can toggle F3 on and off to hide the textures, this should save you some time rather than having to select a load of polygons to hide.
but when you fix things you then run the tool commands again to see if errors still show, that will give a new .wrl, so you don't keep trying to use the same 1 for old errors.
jawa will mean which importer, chimp or blitzkrieg.
seeing you use max8 blitzkrieg should be what you use.
cool, a backup get out quick route sounds good, that should solve it.
chinese buildings seem to be very very detailed, i can only go by google images, but from what i can see there's a fair amount of work to be done on them.
try your mapsname.wrl instead of the debug.wrl.
but will it stop teams from over powering the base and just spamming the windows with grenades?
i must have spent almost a whole game earlier standing on a rock outside beavercreek base
just lobbing grenades into the base, hmmm i got kicked for some reason tho lol.
okay since you know that there is part of the model you said you fall through, then it must be just a certain part right?
so you import the .wrl, select the 1st vil.blah, select polygon mode, scroll over the model and the part with the error being the vil.blah should be highlighted, hit Z to zoom.
look, if that doesn't work you are doing something wrong.
okay sounds spot on to me.
yoda there done a custom weapon tutorial from start to finish in case you plan on making new guns.
edit: okay i see you said vanilla

good stuff, gonna take you a while with that.
the river running up out toward the back of the map, is that going towards where another village type area will be, to make the map mp?
ah, so this is what the pictures on your xfire are about.
wrong thread, wasn't me.

i dont have the maps or much halo stuff anymore, so you used halo assembly?
Vsep01, Vsep02, Vsep03 etc names, are only markers they sit on the grid anyway (delete them after you work with the other makers), the errors are marked on the geometry with the Vils01, Vils02, VilsS03 etc names, they are the only ones to show where the errors are on the geometry.
so yeah if you select any Vsep, expect to be directed to the center of the grid.
