Get Gaigher, he is the Grand Master of Halo 2 mods. He gives all hi.s Halo 2 ports/ style maps a very good halo 2 feel to them. The bloom is a bit too high on some stuff.... Gaigher's maps in my humble opinion look good regardless of the absence of bloom

*boss fights: scarabs, guilty spark...haven't really played the new halo stuff/sides

I feel that this isn't much different from cmt's spv1. What this looks like here is just the same single player with some rather near the same/upgraded models. If we look at how HCEA was made/design, they were focusing on what if the game levels were graphically remade top down with current gen graphics. but retained all the exact kind of game play as its 10 year predecessor did. I'm aware of your mad modding skills and creations. xD But for a project like this I would like to put out that things have to pretty much be nearly redesign. I also have a problem with the custom models being mash up into one single player. You have a really good plasma pistol shiny and all lustered up, but the other weapons don't have the same design or feel of it. The weapons designs don't all look like it was made to be one set. It would be real nice to have everything be design to one epic HD style. Now something like that can truly be called a tribute. I'm hoping not seeing halo's campaign be equivalently made like a modded blood glutch map. No offense I really dig your stuff, but if this project was to happen I hope its not heading in the wrong direction.

The image probably doesn't exist anymore. Hopefully a few can remember my photoshop of someone's flood ghost. I pretty much added spark areas and burnt/destroyed interior with red dot and yellow look.

But the thing about a blue sky is that it makes just about everything in the sky look blue*science*. The best/real life effect we can do is add more particles and space rummage of the broken parts. If there were some closer pieces of the ring in the map area, probably could have a red sky effect. And that will allow the yellow ember burning effect.

I personally enjoy fps, I do have some over the shoulder games and 3rd persons favorites like resident evil or metal gear

I'm sure that Splinter cell has a ton of fun levels. I played it at my friends house several times on the 360(btw this post is not any reference to the splinter cell series but looks like its the same idea with the search light)

OrangeJuice... is there anything you're looking for/or forward to in HaloCE? Is there a reason why we have halo custom edition? Why anyone would make Zelda, Star Wars, Halo, Cod,
Mario Kart from a 10 year old game engine?

I'm here because I have interest in people's work here since 2009. And I recently signed up so that I can have the some experience and share some time with the community. This is more of a hobby than just playing games. I want to create games on the halo engine so that most people that can run halo would enjoy a decent game comparable to console games, I'm thinking about making games with unity 3d but I am also attached to this community that was able to go so far with a very limited engine.

So I was thinking if someone can script an enemy,base, patrol, sentry, search light, this would be nice in a night time city map or a base.

Make a stationary ai(perhaps make the biped look like a piece of machine) that alert their comrades around if your position has been compromised and the light continues to follow your position unless you lose it and take cover which then the light will hold there for a moment then begin to search again, and the field of vision is only where the light beam is shining, and if you damage the light source it "breaks(dies)"

This would add some suspense for a sneaking, ambush, infiltrating mission map.

Personally I have no use for this idea but I'm just throwing the ideas out there.

yeah i was thinking....got better arm texture? the arm is too pink compared to his face, his pants are a bit to light for me

i think the halo 3 marines pants should have a better blend of color, maybe the reason why the
pants look bright and white is because of the lighting

I don't think the visor should have 2 shades of color stick with one, really...do what you want but I would prefer 1 shade of color(reflective shine is okay, unless its a whole entire different design but in this case its still a graphics revamped spartan so stay close with the original basic scheme layout
