Halomaps is dead. Long live Halomaps.
Modacity and Halomaps are very, very dead. You'll have better luck finding current Halo CE community members over at https://opencarnage.net/. There are also several Halo CE communities in separate Discord servers. Ask people on OpenCarnage for invitations.
These models seem to be the scrapped marine concept from the Halo E3 2000 Demo, albeit with greener clothing. Someone with a beta or alpha copy of Halo might be able to extract this old marine concept.

I'd love to get rid of the chestpiece. That and the helmet were the only qualms I had when CEA came out.

Hmmm...I think you might have exceeded the vertex weight list for the JMS Exporter. Too many weighted vertices, I suppose.
So, is it small enough to dual-wield? If not, make it smaller. Dual-wield AR would be so stupidly fun.
Does the camo have an effect that causes enemies to notice you less? Could you also add a silencer? Maybe a muzzle hider, too. And a bipod while you're at it. But seriously. Although camo on a rocket launcher looks cool, it isn't used often because it's impractical. Sure, it helps when the user hasn't been noticed yet. But a rocket launcher isn't known for being a stealth weapon. Still, cool camo bro.

Needs bouncy shocks. And a better paint job. Might as well add a train horn while you're at it.
A duct tape rocket launcher? Why does Dead Rising come to mind? Either way I think that would be an awesome idea. As for criticism, I don't see anything that looks blatantly bad on your model. As for a smoothing group, as long as you don't smooth sharp corners, you're good.

Along with an initial Kickstarter, let's try Patreon.
