try this:

1) right click on sapien
2) go to properties
3) go to compatibility tab
4) make sure these are "checked'
5) windows 8 + disable fullscreen optimizations + run as admin then hit apply

I'm releasing a really big BSP. Note: at it's current size the BSP won't let the scenario compile into a regular .map file. You can use refinery to extract tags from the .yelo file.

Nice BSP Storm! Great work & time effort went into this BSP..Good Job Storm!

All I did was to use OS "tools" & Refinery to compile map:
Refinery + OS Guerilla + OS Sapien + OS Tool

also...stripped "everything" off map including scripts. Left with an "empty" BSP then added in the items you now see on map with some new scripts to add in the "extra" vehicles

1) use moses refinery to extract map (tags) when you do you will see under actions tab whether it is a "yelo" map or "Halo1ce" map. this will guide you to either using OS_Sapien & OS_Tool for "yelo" maps

2) if after using refinery you see halo1ce under actions button: just use regualr sapien & tool

3) refer to debug.txt to fix any issues with extraction
4) debug.txt for OS_Sapien will be found under Documents\My Games\Halo CE\OpenSauce\Reports

maybe unrelated but I just bought a new PC and had to change the "affinity" cores to read just one core....usually isolated to Sapien not working correctly but if you had made a new purchase you may want to look into this:

btw...I'm trying to add some basic actor_variants

how are you adding these in? unless you are ripping from another map that has these they will not compile correctly. using Refinery, you may need to click on "over-write" tags to have them pull across

what tag are you trying to add?

Try opening Guerilla and go to starting equipment: delete all weapons in there and add in just the stock AR & Pistol and see if this fixes the issue. Just trying to isolate that last line in the debug.txt

...also if you have a clean copy of your "globals" tags try and place back into your tags folder to see if this also fixes your issue...then we can start with adding that "special tag" back in
