I KEEP GETTING HALO STOP WORKING I TRY TO RELAUNCH THE GAME AS ADMINISTRATOR AND POP UP GATHERING EXCEPTION DATA
I DONT GET WHAT EXACTLY IM SUPPOSED TO DO By going to windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts do i have to copy past those two somewhere? : 220.127.116.11 maps.haloanticheat.com
18.104.22.168 client.haloanticheat.com and save them on that path or on microsoft games halo ce folder ?
place this (host file) "below" into this directory "below" on your machine.
All it is...is that Btc22 has not "renewed" his license for the site. I am sure he will get around to it soon. Word has been put out to him already. for now you can use this work around:
If HAC2 Domain (haloanticheat.com) is unavailable and your Halo crashes, do this:
Edit C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS - you need to be an administrator or run notepad as an administrator. Type "notepad" in the search bar after clicking the Start button. Right-click on the result, and choose "Run as administrator". Open this file:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS - for some installations, this might be a different path. Find the "ETC" folder under the DRIVERS folder.
Add the following two lines at the bottom:
Once you do this, HAC2 will work again.
No one plays the 1st version? Nicely done map though. In my opinion; map is too big and most players stray from those types of maps. It's hard to get "enough" players to join. A map that size works best with 8 or more players. Yes I know it contains more bells & whistles, but in the long run it will fade as did the 1st version rather quickly. Again; not being rude or anything just my opinion. I like the map myself but its hard to attract many players
c'mon guys!? at least Sparky is trying to "help" others. Respect others
I gave this link to "msalerno" who manages the HAC2 repository, so that these can be added back in for auto-download
These all should be back in the repository within the hour!

I have never had any issues with HAC!
There are ways to bypass the checksum in Halo CE so others can join :)
I use Gameservers.com
$15.95/month for 16 slots
on those vehicles try this:
use HMT or Pepsi or Eschaton:
go to vehicle tag (whatever vehicle you are using) and under seat:
change seat (0) to either
G-Driver or W-driver / also check drives vehicle + 3rd person is also checked
for gunner: W-gunner + check 3rd person + fires weapons
for passenger: W-passenger + check 3rd person entrance + uses MC weapons

try this: http://opencarnage.net/index.php?/topic/4656-sneaky-crouching/
works for me...?!
make sure after you compile your scripts in Sapien; then you need to use "Tool" or "Toolpro" to "compile" your new map with the proper scripts.
make sure you only have 4 rhogs per team: check team index in Sapien: o= red 1 = blue
Be patient! All will be as it was; perhaps better!
after extracting with HEK you will need to have a fresh copy of the "data" & "tag" files and folders. I got it to work by saving a copy of these same folders to my desktop then after extraction I copied and pasted these saved folders back into my Halo CE root directory. Opened up sapien and was able to make modifications to the scenario map file.
Hope this helps

Isn't it riskay outsourcing testing to basically what amounts to strangers......?
Or do you have damage control already setup?
when you test you need to test at all levels...
This all just speaks to his character
