Halo 2 Reclaimed aims to restore the Vista port of the Halo 2 campaign back to its Original Xbox state as much as possible through the limited modding capabilities of Halo 2 Vista. Improvements may or may not be made to the mod over time. Although the mod is made mainly for purists, there's something for everyone here. You will definitely find a thing or two here that can enhance your Halo 2 experience. All information is found in the Documentation & Guide Document.

Halo 2 Reclaimed 60 Tick: This modifies the campaign to have an Original Xbox feel to it, while maintaining the game's 60 tick rate and 60 frames per second.

1.) Enable Reverb (Echo, depending on location)
(Registry edit in: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Halo 2\Audio Settings)
2.) Enable Low Pass Filter (Space muffle)
(Registry edit in: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Halo 2\Audio Settings)
3.) Set anisotropic filtering to 16x in your GPU's Control Panel for Halo 2 to improve the clarity of textures in the distance.
4.) Use DSOAL for audio enhancement.
5.) Leave anti-aliasing off to make sure no polygon meshes are visible.

The following h2customlanguage.ini file includes the following options (Use the select language option in Cartographer to change):

- Advanced (Recommended): A balance between the OG Xbox menu text strings and an actually functional menu. Includes OG Xbox texts such as "Press Start to Continue" and using "Profile" instead of "Player."


- H2V: Restores the 2007 H2V menu for Cartographer.


- OG Xbox: Restores the original Xbox menu strings, even if these labels no longer match what they do. For the hardcore purists.


2.) Button prompts for Controller Users

Unfortunately disallows access to multiplayer. If you use the patcher, you can quit the game, unpatch, then launch the game to get back to multiplayer right away.

- Diamond Sniper Crosshair/Dotless Beam Rifle Crosshair
Resembles Halo CE Refined's approach to the classic OG Xbox Sniper crosshair by making it a diamond, which it visually appears to be in the 2004 version of Halo 2. Keep in mind this Beam Rifle crosshair does not match the OG Xbox in this.

Unfortunately has to be opened first, then pointed towards Halo 2's exe, as well as the tpf file, every time you want to use. This is, however, able to be used in multiplayer.

- Reclaimed.tpf: OG Xbox appears to have thicker crosshairs in general, and this attempts to emulate that, though it is not 1:1 with the OG Xbox. There are actual differences in the designs of some crosshairs between the OG Xbox and H2V that aren't being represented with this package.
- MCC14.tpf: Simply makes the crosshairs dotless, resembling the 2014-2019 builds of Halo 2 Anniversary by removing the dot when not aimed for the head.

Fixed CEA Join-Friendly Maps

As you may or may not know, the maps originally released back in 2017 had misaligned crosshairs, rendering the maps near unusable. While I personally prefer Vaporeon's Semi-Refined maps now, I thought it shouldn't be any harm to release these fixed versions I made to properly center the crosshairs, making them actually viable maps to use. I originally made these back in 2018, and they've been kind of just sitting in my hard drive unused. If anyone wants an experience akin to the MCC, and for whatever reason, can't play MCC itself, they can use these.

Sadly, no. It's still 4.0. Been the same since 2016. But hey, it doesn't really need updates.
Also, you're a year late for SPV3.1, lol. Now, you'll have to stay tuned for SPV3.2. It's a big update. Gonna get an SPV3-style overhaul for Lumoria along with it.

I think what you're referring to was probably MattDratt's extremely early "Takedown" release when he was just starting out. Here's what to play for Takedown:

Yet another award winning post from Crossbow SR! Round of applause everyone! First the SPV3 "virus" accusation, now this. Whatever shall come next?

You want to know why people aren't taking you seriously? That's because your messages sound suspiciously like trolling.

Although, on a serious note, if you're truly not a troll, from what I can decipher, this sounds like someone using a sightjacker. But why exactly would you have an issue of someone recording your gameplay? Are you telling me you're always on the lookout for gameplay videos, and somehow stumbled on one that you recognized was your gameplay?

And also, what do you mean aimbots filling the servers? I haven't noticed too many aimbots myself, really, though they do pop up from time to time. How would you even know who's aimbotting? How do you know they're not just that good?
