Exact legitimacy is not needed as it can't happen. Ask the masses. If the masses want flames, give em flames. Otherwise, remember this is not H3. It is halo CE. Having minor tweaks away from original H3 version isn't going to change the fact that people will still be like "OMG it's Foundry!!!" Are they really gonna rip on you for putting flames on the oddball? Besides, if you were going for legitimacy, you would be using OS so you could have bloom and normal maps on objects. Now I know you don't want to do that, BUUUUT... it would be the way you should do it if you were going for legitimacy. Looking at it that way, this map will never be a 100% remake so like I said, ask the masses and if they demand it, give em a flaming skull.


You knew what I ment. The flames it had before was horrid.

But seeing as you put it that way, we'll put everything from h1 to h4 in the map, create a total chaotic map, with grenade launchers attached to the flags.

Seriously if that's how you see it.

I can't release any H4 content till I'm told I can. Just that plain and simple. Trust gets you places, makes you good friends, it pays off to be trust worthy and to never break a trust.

Matter of the fact is, I can't release ripped H4 content because I was told not to release, not yet.

The bitmaps on the Spartan is a tad dark..ill brighten it up when I get home and fix it.

So long as Foundry has enough map space, then I'll do it. I've been holding off doing it..if theres enough space I can do all perms and secondary colors.

Did you know we released Foundry in Halo 3? It's really awesome.

-Upped the shine a tad
-gray scaled the cyborg armor cubemap
-made the visor not look as flat
-fixed bitmap resolution

I'll go through with some thought input on the spartan shaders/bitmaps. Since I think these are the final lightmaps or close too so I can adjust as necessary.

Semi-fixed up the spartan colors, so it doesn't look so saturated.






I'm going to have to make minor edits to the markers on the spartan but other then that I think it's pretty much golden.
