Whenever there is too much blood or bullet holes, Halo CE lags and slows to a crawl. When I disable decals (Blood, Bullet Holes), Halo CE runs great. Why does this happen? Is my video card the problem? My CPU? My RAM? I Have a GeForce 9600GT SuperClocked, Intel Pentium D OC at 3.8GHZ, and 2GB RAM. Is My low ram Making Halo CE lag with decals enabled?

Could a virus in a map file I downloaded really do this much to hurt Halo CE? BTW, I deleted all my Halo CE maps, reinstalled Halo CE, downloaded Extinction, put it in my map files, and my ui still gets corrupted. I am completely out of ideas. Something like this has never happened to me before.

I cant have a virus or malware because I have spysweepere antivirus v.6.02. I don't know what is wrong, it just started doing this one day.

I have tried the new ui thing. I reinstall Halo ce, and whenever I try to add a new map, my ui gets corrupted and I cant do anything until I reinstall Halo.

Thanks! Rebooting fixed the problem! Unfortunately, mu ui is still corrupted so I cant play Halo CE anymore.

Whenever I click on either Halo CE or Halo PC, I get a message that says "Fatal Error: A copy of Halo is already running on this machine." What does this mean and what can I do to fix it so I dont lose all my maps and saved games?

I tried downloading another Ui. Same thing happens. I even reinstalled halo ce to get a new ui, but when I try to load a map, the whole ui gets corrupted. I dont know what to do.

Whenever I try to add a new map, my ui becomes corrupted and the main menu doesnt function properly. The Halo ring is black against a multicolored, multitextured background. Then, I uninstall, and reinstall Halo CE. Then, it works fine until I try to add a new map. Once I add a new map, the ui gets corrupted again. Any advice is greatly appreciated.... I'm completely out of ideas! Halo CE never used to do this to me!
