I'm still silently stalking this forum.
So a while back I decided that I wanted to get back into modding, so I installed a fresh tag set and I've been working on a test map, however I have this problem
So typically when this error happens it's due to the pelicans physics being corrupted, I tried extracting and downloading to try and fix it, I've even reinstalled CE entirely, but it's not fixing the problem.
It happens on all levels, with both Pelicans and Spirits.
From what I can tell, they do take the correct path, but they fall too quickly/are too heavy and get stuck in objects, I have tried lowering their mass, but all that does is corrupt the physics tag.
Anyone know any solutions on how to fix this?
Well...I decided to start playing this game again as I missed having fun with modding the game, and I was rather surprised that after...9 years? that the community is still active, if barely.
So, I have a bit of a problem(s), my disk is faulty (even though it's been left untouched in a disk case for several months), I can not find the game box to get my activation key, my guess is my parents have taken it to ye ol' dumping grounds and I have gotten a entirely new computer so I can not use Ghosts code recovery app.
So, is there any chance that I might be able to install this game again?
Edit: Forgot about the technical discussion thread...has been a while.
Edit2: I found a download for the game...it just seems...too easy. Honestly I didn't know what to expect from this thread, feel free to ignore it.

Halo 2 Brutes were just damage sponges, I just killed them by sticking them as they ran towards me. I don't think Bungie was too creative at that point.

Flood captain has no contact points, which are added in the bottom of the .biped tag i think.
Just copy the contact points from some other biped.

E: The model I'm trying to export is a halo reach hog, with a -semi- custom turret, and some canister thing on the back.

Darn, didn't notice that, pictures from that game are virtually non-existant anyway so that's the best I could have done either way. The entry wasn't too serious but eh well

I just looked in the unit hud and the foreground and background values seem to be the same ( anchor offset- x: -1 y: 0 (Closest thing i get to co-ords) ), I though for a second it could be the -1 value, but that dosen't explain why they are off on both x and y axis

So i started using a Reach HUD, didn't like the motion tracker so i changed it to the halo 2 one, I changed the bitmaps and copied the co-ordinates from the halo 2 hud interface into the halo reach one, despite this the motion tracker and radar don't line up...
I'm not really sure what to do now, is it possible to move the radar or is that game encoded?
